About Me
Hey there, I’m Shilpi Sharma, and I hail from the vibrant city of Dholpur in Rajasthan, near Agra. Proudly associated with The Jagan Family, a renowned political and entrepreneurial force in Rajasthan, I embarked on a journey that led me from Nainital and Mumbai to earning a degree in acting and studying interior designing at a prestigious institute in New York, United States.
From an early age, I was driven to establish my identity independently, free from the reliance on my family name. My educational pursuits took me through schooling in Nainital to higher education in Mumbai, and I even started working at the age of 16. The journey wasn’t easy, but it provided invaluable experiences, teaching me the significance of life, money, and relationships.
In the realm of music, I stepped into the spotlight as a DJ in 2014 with my remix of “Baby Doll” from the movie Ragini MMS 2. The momentum continued with hits like “Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan” from Roy and remixes for iconic Shah Rukh Khan songs. I had the honor of launching my official Dilwale Soundtrack Remix Album with Shah Rukh Khan and collaborated with top music labels like T-Series, Zee Music India, Sony Music, Speed Records, Eros, Saregama, remixing for renowned musicians like Pritam Chakraborty, Badshah, Arijit Singh, Meet Bros, Honey Singh, Kanika Kapoor, Atif Aslam, and more.
Beyond music, my journey began with TV advertisements, where I became the face of Pears Soap for five years. I’ve collaborated with brands like HSBC, Larsen & Toubro, McDonald’s, Khaitan Fans, Colgate, Babool Toothpaste, Amul Cheese, McDonald’s, Nippo Gold Batteries, ICICI, Park Avenue, and Mysore Talcum Powder.
In Bollywood, I made my debut with N. Chandra’s Style opposite Sahil Khan and went on to play leading roles opposite stars like Sunny Deol in Jo Bole So Nihaal and Arjun Rampal in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine.
I’m humbled to have received the Young Women Achievers Award and was felicitated by ex-President Pratibha Patil for my contributions to social causes, including teaching street children and working in old age homes and orphanages. Join me on this incredible journey of music, entertainment, and making a positive impact on society.
